In-School Program: Modern Student Meets Colonial Times
Are you looking for the perfect program to get your students excited about learning Maryland history? Bring history to life right in the classroom! Invite a Colonial Guide into your classroom to share about the life and times of the Colonials in the mid to late 18th Century. Children will love listening to stories while history comes to life.
Many teachers book our In-School program to launch the start of the year's lessons followed by one of our walking tours in the spring. There is no better way for kids to learn about Maryland’s founding fathers and 18th century life than to take a step back in time with one of our engaging Colonial guides. Having trouble with buses this year? Let us come to you! This low cost option is perfect for schools working with a smaller budget. Suitable for Pre-k-5th Grade. Program content is tailored to your students' grade level. $350 total. Up to 150 guests. 1 hour program. Additional travel cost may apply for locations 25 miles or more from the City of Annapolis
How it Works:
Our 18th Century Annapolitan will lead your young scholars on a journey back in time to explore life during Colonial America. Your students will join in lively discussions about settlement, government, and daily life. They will also participate in a rousing rendition of the skit: George Washington and His Capable Crew.
